It was a wonderful night for Carrie and her Mr. Big who is her husband now. They had pizza and beer when they watching Live NBA tonight. Carrie was like it before, however when she recognized that every man would love to spend their time on the game more than their partner, she start to trying to love the game. Big would like to explain the basketball rules and the background of a player with patient. At that time, he likes a father for Carrie. She does enjoy it, because it is funny and romantic when she sees an old charming gentleman laughing like a kid.
After Allen Ezail Iverson make the basket at the last second of the game Big stood up and held Carrie in his arms. The door bell rang up at the same time. They looked at each other and have no idea that who's coming to visit. Big went to open the door and Carrie cleared away the rubbish on the tea table. When she came out from the kitchen, she saw Samantha was seated in the black leather New York style sofa and Big were pouring the martini to glass with ice beside the bar table.
“Can you bring me some olive darling?” Big asked.
“Oh, of course.” Carrie went back kitchen. After her passing the olive to Big, she leave a warm kiss on his lips.
“I’m going to leave the room for the beautiful ladies” he looked at Samantha nicely “but you can call me any time when you need a bartender.” Big left a benevolent smile and turn to the study.
“You look so awful. What happened?” Carrie seated down beside Samantha and gave her a martini.
“I have no place to go. I don't want to go to Miranda and Charlotte's house because they are so f**king family. I can't even say anything louder after the kids sleeping. They don't even have time to talk to me before the kids go to bed. You know, I can say f**king nothing there. If I have choice I would not came here as well." Samantha expressed negative feelings vigorously.
After Samantha bottomed up, she came down. “I feel lonely, not because I am single but I am afraid that I am going to loose you now.”Carrie had never seen Samantha as solemn as now.
“You know women always focus on their family and spend no time on friendship after they found the happy ending. I wish you happy but does it mean that there will be no one comes to meet me ever after?” she complained.
Carrie was mentioned that they haven’t met each other nearly three months. Suddenly she feels like a cat got her tongue. She can’t even answer herself how could it happen. The last time they catch up was Samantha’s 50th birthday. And she hadn’t bought any shoes during the three months. She recognized that she becomes a real housewife. “Oh my god, what did I do Samantha.”
It was a sunny Saturday. Four shinning ladies were seating in the most famous Café at east Manhattan.
“How’s your kid?” Samantha asked Miranda and Charlotte.
Miranda and Charlotte looked at each other with a glance and said with one voice. “They are very well.” Both of them know that Samantha will never enjoy their mum’s talk. On the other hand, they already spend too much time on their kids, husband and career, they need relax now.
“You know what” Carries said “I hadn’t bought any shoes since three month ago.”
“You hadn’t written anything for your column either.” Miranda said.
“She must be fell very satisfy and happy with Big. Oh, that is the real rare love story in Manhattan.” Charlotte said with a blossoming smile.
“Is that what you want Carrie? Do nothing but running around with Big?” Samantha asked. However, although she bought more than 30 shoes during the three months, she didn’t feel happy because no one recognizes that they are the new shoes of her and no one cares about it.
“Oh, Samantha, is that the new season Versace shoes? Oh, what a wonderful color. Red always makes you look fantastic.” said by Charlotte.
Suddenly Samantha was feeling there a power has been put into her body. “Thank you, Charlotte.”
“Ok, I know I have to change my life style. How about start from shopping? We hadn’t go together long times.” Carrie looked at Samantha’s shoes and said.
“Wonderful, darling.” Samantha smile to Carries “Give me the bill please.”
Shopping is one of the most wonderful things on the top of women’s happy list, and it must be happier if you have friends with you.
When they were shopping together, Carries still feel what she felt at the first time they shopping together that were nearly 20 years ago. She felt powerful, young blood, passion but they don’t need to be window shopping anymore.
“There has nothing been changed, hasn’t it” Carrie said to Samantha.
“Oh, come on. Of course not. Hey, do you think that staff is handsome?” Samantha said and all of them are laugh like teenagers.
